Susan Boniface is a fully registered Primary School teacher with 34 years’ experience in both New Zealand and the UK. She has always had an interest in where the children are at when they first enter her classroom. Some are resilient, while others demonstrate a more vulnerable landscape. Susan’s strengths lie in her ability to connect personally with others to best meet their social/emotional and learning needs. Susan’s gentle approach, alongside her art therapy training, has facilitated some remarkable healing with both children and adults within school and community programmes.
Her interest in healing, linked with recovery from her own significant trauma, lead her to discover the profound benefits of Havening. The mind/body connection has always been of interest to her. She personally experienced the life changing effects of Havening and therefore felt drawn to herself become a Havening practitioner.
Susan believes every client has their own intuitive wisdom which will determine the direction and pace of their healing journey. The trauma and healing will unfold layer by layer. She uses a range of Havening techniques and combinations of techniques to best assist her clients. Her empathetic nature and sensitivity, has enabled Susan to hold a space of trust and safely. She is compassionate and clients feel well supported within her practice. Susan is passionate to be able to offer this exceptional technique to help others like it has helped her.
